Week 62

Hi all,

Not surprising that Koay is getting engaged but I could never imagine that he would get engaged this fast! Please congratulate William and Mandy for me! I have 2 wedding reception to attend this year in Malacca!

I gotta say that I am really proud of Kennedy and Aaron for making a decision to leave everything back for 2 years. I promise both of them that it is gonna be a worthwhile journey. Please wish them all the best!

Of all my companion, I gotta say I really love Elder Lee being my companion! We speak in Asian English and we really have the same mind set of achieving things. Few weeks ago, we were in the McDonald sitting waiting to meet with people. Elder Lee started whispering to me saying, eh, look at the lady over there. She is smiling to herself.
I was like, noooo. You can't see meh? She is talking to the guy in front of her ( no one is sitting in front of her)
He replied, oh, I don't have 3rd eye.
And I was like busting out, oh really? Cox I don't have 3rd eye too. There is actually no one sitting in front of her!
There are actually more but I couldn't really think of any right now but he will be gone soon because his visa just got approved and we will be heading down to KL on Wednesday to go to the Embassy.

It is so true that the branch is a lot more alive with Angelo, Anna and Rachel! We will have a tons of fun here and not to forget more missionary work too!

This week was super super super super exhausting especially traveling back and forth from Singapore. We did 20 hours of service this week and prepare a lot for the open house. It's just so speechless and I don't want to touch on any of that because of sensitivity issue.

We went to a school with Bro David to help teach the students how to make a bracelet. Really! This is my first time being surrounded with students wanting to take picture over and over again! I was legit standing there for few minutes while they keep switching. It was so tired even if I just stand there and smile.

Then we help clean out Sis Aggie's store and then help clean out one of the recent convert house because the parents are divorce and the son just got released from the hospital. So we decided to go serve all these awesome members!

It was tired. It was rough. It feels like dying. But we love it because we know we can't stop. I love one of the quote in the Singapore MRT that says, "Don't stop when you're tired, stop when you're done." I know how tired I am most of the time but I also know that I have a lot of unfinished business here in Malacca.

Please continue to do well.

Love all of you,
Elder Tan
